I too the NRA Basic Instructor and Basic Pistol Instructor certification course from Dwayne in January of 2010. He runs a good instructor course and he was there to answer any questions I have about setting up my business in the months following my certification. 3/14/2014 12:51:55 pm
The Instructor's course was taught in a very friendly and professional manner. Mr. Chaney teaches in a way that makes you feel comfortable to ask questions and receive feedback. If you are considering becoming an instructor you need to take this instructor course!

Excellent instruction! Mr. Chaney provided all material in professional, friendly and engaging environment. A lot of information to absorb in a short time, but Mr. Chaney is able to keep you engaged and learning the entire time. I would definitely recommend Mr. Chaney for any course he is teaching.

I feel that the instructor was very knowledgeable in the subject matter. The course material was laid out in an organized manner that helped me to follow the topic easily. The instructor also conveyed the material in a manner that was on my level and made sure that everyone thoroughly understood the subject matter before moving onto the next point. Though it was a long class, the use of TPI kept us focus and alert.

Great class, very well planed, and executed, Mr. Chaney did an excellent job teaching the class, very informing and exciding, I would recommend this class and highly recommend Mr. Chaney as the instructor.

Course was very well organized and the NRA Counselor (Dwayne Chaney) captured my attention from the first moment I walked through the door and maintained an active stance for the entire course. The day was so busy that it went by before I realized it. The training was intense but the atmosphere was relaxed and conducive to a learning environment. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and the course content and look forward to repeating the experience on future courses.

The class was a bit on the lengthy side, but I feel that it was necessary in order to ocver the wealth of information requred for being an NRA instructor. The instructor's constant enthusiasm helped me ot stay focused on the subject matter on hand. Dispite the constant level of energy that the instructor had, the instructor maintained top notch level of professionalism and awareness of his actions, words, and classroom environment. The instructor's ability to flow with the movement of the class seemed to help the general fluidity of the class movment.

With over 1000 hours of CE credits in my primary profession, Dwayne is one of the best instructors that I have ever encountered. He is very effective at keeping the attention of students, and involving ALL participants in the class. Outstainding instructor.

I can't put into word how beneficial and awesome our class time was in the two day weekend. I learned a lot from Dwayne, who is a fantastic teacher, and have since been able to help others with their basic gun safety. Dwayne engaged us all and taught me so much over the two days. If anyone is looking to take an instructors class I recommend taking it with someone who cares about your learning experience and you as a person. Take this class from Always-on-Point and you will not be disappointed!

I took the Pistol Instructor's course a few weeks back and I'm glad I did it! Dwayne is a great instructor and has a very friendly and approachable demeanor and a great teaching style. I expected the class to be hours and hours of Power Point slides, reading, etc., but it was anything but. The class was very interactive with all of us participating in the conversation. It was a LONG two days, but it was absolutely worth it! I met several great guys, had a lot of laughs, and walked away with my NRA cerification! I am hoping to take the NRA Rifle Instructor's course with Dwayne in the future as well.

I am currently in the Pistol Instructor's course with Dwayne Chaney and I am really enjoying this course. It is inspiring me to become interested in Continuing Education as Trainer. Dwayne is very inspiring as a Teacher.

I took the basic instructor course. Dwayne is a great instructor . he made the realy long course seem short . He is very out going . I have had a wonderful time and have learned a lot. I'm looking forward to taking more classes from Dwayne in the near future

I just completed the NRA Instructor course, given by Dwayne Chaney. I was very pleased with the presentation! I have taken various courses, both military and civilian, so I have seen different methods of teaching. Dwayne is by far the best instructor I have encountered! Dwayne is very engaging and extremely knowledgeable. His teaching methods keep the student interested and eager to progress. I expect I will incorporate some of his techniques into my presentations. Thank you, Dwayne! I look forward to taking my next discipline training through Always-On-Point.

Dwayne is as an exceptional instructor. He is as good as I've experienced in 10 years of as an active duty Army Scout. I have attended multiple schools and training from long range marksman to U.S. Army Ranger School and he was able to keep my attention and help me to retain the information better than anyone before. I am already looking for the next course I can get fro Always on Point.

After being in law enforcement for over 35 years, I would have to say is the best Instructor I have ever had. I have taken many classes over the years and have been tired at times and have had a hard time staying awake. But Dwayne has kept my attention in his techniques of teaching. I would highly recommend Dwayne to anyone who is interested in the N.R.A. classes. Very personable man. Can not say enough good things about him.

The NRA Basic Pistol Instructor Course given by Dewayne Chaney and "TEAM" was absolutely wonderful and an awesome experience. Dewayne kept it exciting and always kept us smiling, allowing us to become informed AND have loads of fun! The info is priceless will be taken out and shared correctly and hopefully in the same manner as it was delivered... FUN! Having information and knowledge on a subject are great things, but using the knowledge given and being able to deliver it in such a fun and positive manner, impacts the one learning much greater. Thank you for a wonderful "learning to teach CORRECTLY AND COMPLETELY" class. I know I can speak for us all in this class and say YOU ARE AWESOME!!! Be Blessed!!!

I have enjoyed being in Dwayne Chaney's NRA instructor class. He is an excellent instructor and I am glad I had the opportunity to learn from him. He takes his time to ensure that his students have grasped the concepts while in the meantime keeping the class and students engaged. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for any kind of training. And I hope that this is not the last time I get to train and learn from him.

Mr. Chaney's NRA Pistol Instructor course was absolutely the best class I have ever participated in. They are so many layers to his instruction and he makes it seem effortless. He is well prepared and patient. He creates a learning environment that is comfortable to learn in. He doesn't allow you to give up on yourself if you feel that you cannot perform a specific task. If you need a prime example of great instructing, this is the instructor you need. I cannot express it enough. I am grateful for his lessons, motivation, and pure sincerity in teaching others. I look forward to seeing him again!

I recently attended the NRA Instructor's Course (Pistol) which was taught by Mr. Dwayne Chaney. Mr. Chaney is an amazing instructor. He does an outstanding job at keeping all of the students engaged throughout the training process. If you're looking for any NRA related training, do yourself a favor and reach out to him. I just attended the NRA Pistol Instructor Course with Dwayne Chaney who provided one of the most detailed and interesting courses I've attended in my 37 years in law enforcement and corporate security. Dwayne provided in depth instructional knowledge of the course subject, with enthusiasm and student interaction. Would recommend attending any course taught by Dwayne Chaney. Job well done.

This is one of the most professional, comprehensive and useful trainings I have attended in my 30+ years experience of owning, instructing in the use of, and using firearms. Mr. Dewayne Chaney is a consummate professional as indicated by his HIGH level of Instruction and professionalism demonstrated during my training. This TRAINER knows his craft is a master, and it is a professional honor and privilege to have participated in this training. The NRA Instructor course is very informative. Mr. Chaney really knows how to get you motivated and thinking about things that you may not have considered before. Mr. Chaney is an excellent Teacher and Mentor. Very Passionate and Professional. He is always willing to counsel you and answer any questions that you might have. Dwayne is one of the best teaching style I've ever witnessed. The way he teaches should be watched by all teachers of any discipline. He has a way of keeping you super engaged the entire time. I'm going to be sure to take any class he has to offer. I highly recommend Dwayne as an instructor.

Best class I have ever taken. I learned fundamentals that can be applied in any situation. Mr. Chaney was super professional but still managed to keep the class fun. I anticipated a long boring class that I wouldn't be able to retain information I received. It was the complete opposite. He kept the class engaged the entire time and I was eager for the next day. Super impressed with his ability to grab the attention of the class and keep it though every lesson. I would love to take any and every class offered by Mr. C!

In all reality this is the first time that I have ever been in a course or a class that the Instructor brought passion and enjoyment along the entire ordeal. 10/10 Wll recommend, if I ever get the opportunity to further my education, Id seek him out for the help.

I took the NRA Basic Instructor Training and NRA Basic Pistol Instructor Certification Course from Dewayne Chaney at Always On Point Training and thought it was great. It's an intense two days with a lot of information. Dewayne doesn't cut any corners but keeps the classroom energy up and the lessons engaging. The best thing I can say is that I will be returning to take additional classes here, and I'm confident Always On Point will be an excellent resource for anyone looking to improve their firearms skills or certification level.

I just completed the NRA Firearms Instructor course and I have to tell you...Dewayne (Gunny) Chaney’s training is superb! I have been around guns all my life (so far) and I learned so much more about firearms, how to be a great trainer, and about myself during our 2 days together. “Gunny” has a way of making everyone in the class feel safe, comfortable, and empowered to learn. In addition, he has created a state-of -art training facility with virtual training rooms to help anyone learn better shooting skills without using up a lot of expensive ammo. I will be sending my Son to AOP for his Firearm Instructor training as soon as I train him in NRA’s Basics of Pistol Shooting because yes, I passed the class. Thanks Gunny!
